Places for People’s 2024 Sleeping in Cars was a big success, with over $30,000 raised.
The event saw people sleeping in their cars in Head lake Park from 7:00 p.m. on March 22 to 7:00 a.m. March 23.
The event began a number of years ago to raise awareness for the need for affordable housing in Haliburton County.
The funds raised will be used by Places for People to continue providing affordable housing across the county.
