News Snowmobile trails across the province at 95% availability SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Wednesday, Feb. 18th, 2015 It’s looking like another long and enjoyable snowmobiling season. OFSC says 95 per cent of their trails are available in February for the second year in a row. Participation has also increased by 20 per cent across the province, which president Remi Sauve says is due to the 213 clubs across the province and their thousands of volunteers that prepare, maintain and operate the trails. The Haliburton County Snowmobile Association is a member of OFSC and all the trails in our area are open and operational. The club is expecting trails to be open to ride right through to March break.
