Roadside brush collection will begin May 12 for the areas most heavily affected by the recent ice storm.
Officials say this includes Minden Hills, and designated areas of Highlands East and Dysart et al.
The region has been broken up into six zones. For Zone 1, which includes Minden Hills, collection will begin May 12 at 7 a.m. Collection in the other five zones will take place between May 29 and June 9.

Tree branches no longer than four feet long and eight inches in diameter will be accepted, as well as loose debris placed in brown bags weighing less than 55 lbs.
