The Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Pine Ridge District Health Unit will launch its 2025 beach water monitoring program on June 16.
Officials say staff will be monitoring water quality of 54 public beaches across the County of Haliburton, City of Kawartha Lakes, and Northumberland County.
Each week, water will be tested for E.coli, and other bacteria. Results will be posted at hkpr.on.ca.
