Swimming advisory posted at Rotary Head Lake Beach

The local health unit has posted a moderate risk warning at Rotary Head Lake Beach in Dysart et al.

Officials say the warning was posted yesterday due to elevated levels of bacteria in the water. While the beach remains open to the public, swimming in not recommended.

The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit conducts beach water monitoring throughout the summer months.
