IDA pharmacist doing fine following Tuesday’s armed robbery

The pharmacist who was injured in Tuesday’s Huntsville IDA armed robbery is doing fine. Al Norton, the store’s Pharmacy Manager suffered a minor scrape on the forehead during a scuffle with the armed robber 23 year old Tristan Taylor. Norton says he’d never experienced anything like that before…

Norton says all the emergency responders and customers did a fantastic job, as did victim services who followed up. Norton says Taylor asked for opiates and got away with oxycodone. It’s the pharmacist’s opinion that there is a significant local addiction problem that needs to be addressed…
