Highlands East council is looking at partnering with the Bancroft Family Health Team. A rep from the team, Sandra McGrath was at yesterday’s council meeting asking for their support to collaborate on bringing medical services to the area.
The Family Health Team wants to bring a doctor to the Highlands East clinic and offer some of their free programs there too.
Councilors agreed to move forward and after talking with their current health care partners, they’ll have a concrete decision at the March 23 meeting.
