Students in Haliburton County who are inspired to start their own business this summer can apply for a government grant. The province has opened applications for the Ontario Summer Company Program which offers mentoring, training and grants up to three thousand dollars.
It’s available for students 15 to 29 and you can apply online. Last summer, 940 students started their own companies, raising the total since 2001 to six thousand students across the province.
