The County Tourism Committee is taking direction from the Ontario Culinary Tourism Alliance on how to enhance the food aspect of tourism. At yesterday’s committee meeting, members discussed a Community Food Network, which Chair Carol Moffatt said should be something they do carefully to make sure the County keeps a lead hand in what initiatives develop.
This step is part of the Tourism Director’s goal to bring a focus to food and culinary in the Haliburton Highlands.
