A workshop called StraightTalk is happening next week and it’s all about raising awareness, understanding and appreciation for the challenges that are facing our youth today. It’s being held at the Northern Lights Pavilion and one of the speakers is the founder of YouthSpeak, Una Wright. There will also be some youth speakers exchanging their personal stories. Also coming out of the evening will be ideas, insights and tips about building positive relationships with youth.
Parents, educators, police officers and youth workers are invited to the free event which also includes food and babysitting.
