There’s another easy way you can help a local organization. The Woodlands Wildlife Sanctuary is asking people to vote for them in the Fed Ex Charity Competition. It’s for five thousand dollars, which Operator Monika Melichar says they need for medical supplies and medications for their new ICU and Nursery.
They’re up against big name charities like the Toronto Humane Society, but so far, they’re in sixth place. She says each vote works like a ballot into the draw that happens on April 8.
