With Dusk Dances cancelled this year, Highlands Little Theatre is filling the gap. Yesterday, Management Board member David McGill told Dysart council their plan to hold Shakespeare in the Park this year. To keep in the tradition of including local youth, they’ll perform A Midsummer Night’s Dream so there is a chance for young dancers to be included.

It’s a low expense project, says McGill, so all they need from council is support so they can perform it in Head Lake Park.

It was agreed that they will work with the municipality’s recreation coordinator to set dates for this summer.
