Haliburton County council is in session today. The regular meeting will have councilors discussing the reports that are being brought forward from committee meetings that happened earlier this month.
They’ll get an update on the Head Lake Bridge project, which recently saw funding approval come through. They’ll also be getting an update on tourism initiatives and the EMS base construction.
The day will also include councilors passing the tax rate by-law which will come in at a 2.7 per cent increase for residents.
