“It’s about time” was the sentiment of Minden Hills Deputy-Reeve Cheryl Murdoch at yesterday’s county council meeting when the sale of the Walker property was officially passed.
The property, which is located beside the new EMS base was officially sold to the Township of Minden Hills, which they’re planning to use for a new fire hall.
No official plans for the new fire hall have come forward but the process can start now that the sale has happened.
