Minden council approves installing antennas for wireless service for PanAm Games

Minden Hills council has agreed to bring better wireless service to the Whitewater Preserve. A presentation from CanAcre, on behalf of Bell Mobility was heard at this morning’s meeting, saying people won’t be able to access service during the PanAm Games.

To fix that, they proposed installing four poles with antennas on them which wouldn’t be taller than four meters. According to the company, it would bring 4G service along the entire preserve.

Council agreed to the antennas which would be maintained before and after the Games.
