The Water Music Festival in Minden won’t be going forward. At least not for this year. At yesterday’s Minden Hills council meeting, Deputy-Reeve Cheryl Murdoch said it’s an event they want to do right, and they just don’t have enough time to get everything together for this summer.

She said council isn’t saying they’re not interested, just that they’re interested for 2016.

Reeve Brent Devolin got some applause from council members when he said events like this is what he wants to see more of in the municipality.
