It will be quiet on the Rail Trail over the next month with only non-motorized users allowed until May first. Every year for the month of April, only hikers, joggers, people on horseback and mountain bikers are allowed on the trail. If the trail is in good condition, it will open to ATVs on May first.
At a recent county council meeting, they discussed the issue of people putting up their own signs on the trail. Councilors agree to draft up a policy that would outline appropriate signs allowed.
