Investigation continuing in threats causing lockdown at Peterborough schools earlier this week

Two Peterborough schools were in lockdown and evacuated due to a possible threat Tuesday.

Police responded to the call at Crestwood Secondary School around 2 p.m.  Students from the high school and nearby James Strath Public School were evacuated onto buses and given to parents.

A 16-year old boy was held for questioning.  He was released without charges.  An investigation continues.  If you have information that could help solve this case, you’re asked to contact Crimestoppers.
