The local Alzheimer Society wants to bring an event to Haliburton County. It will be a Walk for Alzheimer’s but they’re looking for some people in the county to help plan it.
Annual walks happen across the country, but this would be the first one for Haliburton County.
All of the money raised during the event would stay in the community toward the 200 clients in Haliburton County that access the Society’s services.
