War Amp Key Tags have made their way to homes across Haliburton County. This year will be the 70th that the War Amps of Canada have provided this service to Canadians and the key tags are being mailed out to all Ontarians this month. Amputee and Safety Events Coordinator with the War Amps of Canada James Jordan explains the program.

The War Amps have returned 1.5 million sets of keys since the inception of the program in 1946. Donations are not mandatory, but all support from the service goes to support War Amps programs and the purchase of artificial limbs for Canadian amputees.
