The TD Friends of the Environment Foundation is launching their annual donation drive today. Carol Patrick is the manager of the Minden branch and she tells us what the organization is all about.
The Minden branch has donated to local organizations like the Haliburton Highlands Land Trust, the Land Between, Kilcoo Camp, and the Haliburton County Fair. Patrick says they’re asking people to make a one-time donation, or sign up to donate two dollars a month. Each customer that does, they’re giving a free reusable bag and a tree sapling to plant.
All of the money raised in Haliburton County stays in our community.
The donation drive runs until the end of the month.
