Highlands East council just signed an agreement that will bring a doctor to the Municipality. It won’t be for at least three years because she’s currently a student that still needs to graduate.
She’s signed the agreement with Highlands East and Hastings County where they pay for her tuition, books and living expenses and she agrees to work in the area for at least five years.
Highlands East and Hastings County have agreed to each pay 150 thousand dollars over a six year period. The earliest she would start is 2018.
