May 9 is prescription drug drop off day and Haliburton Highlands OPP is giving local residents the chance to discard their unwanted or expired prescriptions safely. This Saturday, officers will be in the Haliburton arena parking lot, beside the Community Services office.
The annual event is a reminder that you should always dispose of your prescription drugs safely so they don’t end up in the wrong hands.
The event takes place this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
