A new season of cycling is underway, and this year it’s with freshly paved shoulders. Last year, one meter of paved shoulders was added to County Road 648 for about ten kilometers.
The Haliburton Easy Ryder Cycling Club and the Communities in Action Committee are hosting an appreciation ride on the road at the end of May. They’re also using that day to launch the Share the Road campaign for 2015.
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are being invited to join when they meet at the Lloyd Watson Centre in Wilberforce on May 30 at 11:00 a.m.
