You can save about one hundred dollars by registering your child in the Highland Storm Minor Hockey league this month. It’s the early bird rate, which can make a difference with the registration fee going up because of rising costs.
Registration will be held at the Minden arena on Tuesday May 12 and Thursday May 14 from 7 – 9 p.m., and the Haliburton arena on Tuesday May 19 and Thursday may 21 from 7 – 9 p.m.
Parents and families are also reminded of programs like the Canadian Tire Jumpstart and Goals and Dreams programs that can help offset some of the costs.
