Students in Haliburton County who have a love of music but may not have the money to buy an instrument could be eligible for the Highlands Student Bursary. Nominations are open, and organizer Bethany Houghton explains what it’s about:
Houghton says anyone can nominate a high school student in the community. The nomination forms have to be submitted by June 12 and the recipient will be announced at the concert on June 19.
