Devolin announces $5,000 for Minden’s Pan Am torch relay

Five thousand dollars will be going toward Pan Am Games celebrations in Minden Hills. MP Barry Devolin made the announcement today to support the day-long celebration during the torch relay on June 4.

That day will include canoe and kayak workshops, fur trade demonstrations, displays from the Canadian Canoe Museum and hikes along the white water preserve.

Devolin also announced today that ten thousand dollars is going toward the City of Kawartha Lakes for their torch relay event.
