NewsPan Am torch in Minden today SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Thursday, Jun. 4th, 2015The Pan Am Games torch finally makes its appearance in Minden today. It will be carried through town by local resident Sue Shikaze. Just before 11 o’clock it will start at the school and make its way down Bobcaygeon Road.To highlight Minden’s involvement hosting the Canoe Kayak Slalom event in the games, the torch will also travel by kayak along the Gull River. It will stop at the town docks for speeches by Reeve Brent Devolin, MPP Laurie Scott, and MP Barry Devolin before leaving town.
