Haliburton County will have a new tourism website soon, and it’s leaps and bounds ahead of the current one. That was the general consensus from tourism committee members at yesterday’s meeting.
They also had a thorough discussion on how to include local businesses. While they don’t have the resources to maintain a business directory, they agreed linking to other sites for the information is the preferred option.
The new site is being designed by the County’s Tourism Director, Amanda Virtanen and she’s hoping to launch the new site by the end of the month.
