Details are coming forward about an agreement between the Township of Minden Hills and Solar Power Network.
The company told councilors last week that an agreement was signed in 2013, but minutes from that meeting showed it was never passed. It turns out the proposal originally came forward in 2012, and council did approve it then. The company wanted to change the agreement in 2013, and that’s when council said no.
Current councilors are deciding whether or not to sign it, which would approve a rooftop solar panel for the arena.
