Stanhope fire fighters will have a new way to get calls. This summer they are trying out a new app called Who’s Responding.
The notifications come to their phone and they can answer to say whether or not they are responding. It won’t be replacing the radio system, and is completely optional for them to have.
It also has the option to set up an automatic message to send to your spouse to tell them you’re going to a call. Councilors will get a full report on the system in the fall.
