Hydro One has some safety tips to help keep kids safe when they’re outside this summer. They are asking parents to talk about outdoor electrical safety with their children.
Pay attention to signs and climb trees only if they’re away from hydro lines and wires. Don’t go near overhead power lines and wires, especially with toys such as kites, balloons and planes. Avoid electrical equipment. In any lighting storm, go indoors and call 911 if there’s an emergency.
