The lone person who died in a collision today has been identified at Christopher Roper of Dorset.
Haliburton Highlands OPP and the Technical Collision Investigations Unit are currently on scene of the collision that happened on Highway 35.
OPP report the initial investigation shows the vehicle left the roadway and struck a rock cut. Roper was pronounced dead at the scene.
It happened at approximately 5:30 this afternoon on Highway 35 south of Muskoka Road 117.

Roper was the driver of the vehicle and was the only person in the car.
The road is closed between Raven Lake Landing and Muskoka Road 117 until further notice.
The investigation is ongoing.
