Some early work will start on Head Lake bridge this week. It’s not expected to have any effect on traffic as they’ll be working on the pier caps below the bridge.

At a recent council meeting, staff said they’re starting now so not as much needs to be done when they do the full construction next spring.

The work is expected to start at night on July 8th and continue to July 9th.

The 1.4 million dollar project was decided on earlier this year after the county received a provincial grant for 780 thousand dollars.
