It looks like the new food hub for Haliburton County will be up and running before the summer is over. The project was launched last year after the Trillium Foundation grant for just over 140 thousand dollars came through.
The food hub is being constructed as an addition on the Lloyd Watson Centre and already has the walls up.
Right now they are waiting for bids to complete the electrical work.
They’re expecting construction to be done by the end of August.
