News Health Unit lists boil water advisories on their website SHARE ON: Smith Autumn, contributor, Monday, Jul. 13th, 2015 Our local health unit has information posted on their website you may want to take a look at. Water systems are tested for contaminants and a boil water advisory is issued if it’s not safe, or if there is a risk of contamination. This means you should be boiling your water for at least a minute before you drink it. The Northern Eagle Campers Association in Minden had their advisory lifted, but the Buttermilk Falls resort in Algonquin Highlands is still under theirs. You can find all the details on the health unit’s website.
