The Bancroft Family Health Team is expanding to Wilberforce. Highlands East councilors signed the resolution yesterday to have a nurse practitioner come to the clinic in Wilberforce twice a month starting in September.

Highlands East councilors signed another resolution yesterday which supports the Bancroft Family Health team in their funding application so they can expand telemedicine services to the municipality.
They’ve been using it in Bancroft for the past six months as a way to video conference with specialists and doctors so residents don’t have to travel for appointments.
