Haliburton Highlands OPP remain on scene on Highway 35 north of Carnarvon for an investigation.
Constable Sean Hawley says the only information available is that officers are investigating a “suspicious vehicle”.
The road is closed between Little Hawk Lake and Kandalore Road.
According to crews on the road, the highway from Camp Wheeler Road to Kandalore Road is completely shut down.

They say residents are being allowed through as far as Saskatchewan Lake Road, but no further.
Vehicles travelling south are being re-routed down Kushog Lake Road.
No other information is available at this time, the investigation is ongoing.
