Haliburton County isn’t in short supply of trees, but Forests Ontario is asking us to turn our attention to them now that planting season is winding down.
This is the perfect time to look for changes in your trees, check for signs of infestation and get rid of any defective limbs. They’re also reminding people of the 50 Million Tree Program where some landowners can get up to 85 per cent of planting costs covered.
