Prince Edward-Hastings MP Daryl Kramp has announced funding for two new technology businesses.
He was in Picton yesterday to announce $900,000 for Prince Edward County businesses Komodo OpenLab and Open Ocean Apps.
Open Ocean Apps will get $400,000 from the Prince Edward and Lennox and Addington Community Futures Development Corporation and First Stone Venture Partners. The money will fund a new Pro Angler app. Komodo OpenLab will get $500,000 from the same organizations for their product Tecla, which helps people living with disabilities.
Kramp was joined by Ontario Minister Gary Goodyear.
