A Lindsay woman is dead following a two vehicle collision on Highway 35 near Lindsay last night. Police responded to the crash just south of Highway 7 at around 8 o’clock last night. A car exiting a private drive on the west side of Hwy. 35 was struck broadside by a pick-up truck travelling south. The 71 year old passenger of the car, died as a result of the collision. The driver of the car, a 78 year old Lindsay man, was taken to the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay with serious injuries. The driver of the pickup truck, and his two young children were treated for minor injuries. The highway was closed until approximately 11:30 p.m.
