Harvest Haliburton is growing good food ideas. Last year Harvest Haliburton partnered with the HCDC and Sustain Ontario to produce three short videos highlighting the emerging local sustainable food movement in the county. The videos are now available at all of the Haliburton public libraries. An interactive lesson plan, which incorporates the videos, has been made available to the high school teachers. Harvest Haliburton wants to raise awareness of local sustainable food issues, build inter community and provincial partnerships and networks and build capacity through food programming and policies.
