A meet and greet in Minden tonight is just the beginning of the federal election for local voters.
Mike Perry is the NDP candidate for Haliburton Kawartha Lakes Brock and he’ll be at the Minden Lions Club from 4 until 6pm.
The Conservative candidate in our riding, Jamie Schmale says some official events for him are in the works, but he’s been to a few things in town like yesterday’s Rotary Carnival.
Liberal candidate David Marquis is starting his door-to-door campaigning in the area.
And Bill MacCallum is our Green Party candidate and he’ll be at Abby Gardens tomorrow for the Carbon Conversations event.
Voters head to the polls October 19.
