A new by-law about the sale and use of fireworks in Highlands East could be passed today.
Councillors are meeting at 9am for their regular council meeting, and the draft by-law is on the agenda.
So far, it says people won’t be allowed to set off fireworks more than three days before a holiday, and no one can display or sell fireworks seven days before a holiday.
Today councillors will decide whether or not to pass the by-law.
