A private member’s resolution in the Ontario legislature now has support from a local council.
\Highlands East councillors have agreed to support the call for the fair distribution of funds to municipalities. The resolution says all ridings should be evaluated equally, and not influenced by the political party their MPP is from.
The resolution is coming from Perth-Wellington MPP Randy Pettapiece.
