It’s Dysart’s turn to host the next Doors Open. Local Amy Brohm visited council this week to offer to take the lead in organizing the popular fall event. County staff has told her they are too busy, but that they have $4,000 in budget for expenses. A sub-committee of the Cultural Resources Committee will be formed to manage the process. $1,600 is due in December to register the event with Doors Open Ontario. Dysart have committed $2,000 from the 2014 budget.
