OPP are currently investigating a series of break-ins targeting farms. They happened in City of Kawartha Lakes in different areas. Both break, enter and thefts happened at a dairy farm where tools, firearms, computers and security systems were stolen.
Anyone with information on the crimes is asked to call OPP or Crime Stoppers.
Officers are also sending the message to agriculture property owners to record the serial numbers of their property, or put a distinctive mark on them. People should also be storing firearms in a place that isn’t accessible.
