An investigation that started in Peterborough has led to the arrest of a Louisiana man in a sextortion scheme involving children.
Peterborough Police talked to a 12 year old girl last November who was being extorted for nude images by an older man online.
The IP address led to the suspect in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. That investigation led to State police finding at least four other victims across the US.
The 25 year old is facing a number of charges including extortion and production of child porn. To date, four young girls have been identified as victims, and police are continuing to investigate.
