Intergenerational program a success in Haliburton

An intergenerational mentorship program is a success. It was launched earlier this summer after the municipality got 25 thousand dollars from the government. Director of the Haliburton Highlands Museum, Kate Butler says it’s all about connecting generations. So far, they’ve had youth take part in workshops about knitting, hand spinning, and embroidery. The workshops are free, and you can sign up by calling the museum.
