ATV and ORV riders will be travelling across Haliburton County roads soon. County councillors passed a by-law this morning allowing the use on the shoulder of certain roads.
There’s 27 in total including Haliburton Lake Road, Glamorgan Road and Kennisis Lake Road.
Today’s meeting also had councillors talking about how to move ahead with brush work on the Rail Trail. There’s a lot that needs to be done and not a lot in the budget, so the roads committee will be talking about it next month.
